We are currently seeking a radiation oncologist to commit to a one year locum or full time position. Interested board certified physicians should apply and include their current CV for immediate consideration.
Candidates must possess a strong clinical background as he or she will provide outpatient clinical care for the general care and expansive treatment of diverse patient needs. The person we hire will be success oriented and work toward the opportunity for a partnership in the facility after an initial period.
Our physicians work collaboratively and cooperatively with peer providers, and within the organization, including the physicist, radiation therapist, and dosimetrist. Responsibilities include compassionate, appropriate, and effective care while ensuring thorough patient evaluations, customized treatment planning, and oversight of the treatment process.
In addition to fulfilling all requirements as detailed in the Employment Contract, our successful physicians ensure all visits are accurately charted, dictated, and properly coded. There will be participation in utilization and quality activities within practice setting as well as in activities affecting the ambulatory care network as a whole. We expect that all employees follow organization policies, procedures, and protocols.
These roles also includes operational and business related functions/tools at the practice. We are looking for a physician to augment the baseline and positively represent the organization through outreach in the local and broader community and participating in educational and other medically oriented programs for the public and patients. This team leader will participate as directed in network quality improvement projects/pilots and agrees to follow its protocols.

Experience: Licensed radiation oncologist.
Education/Skills: Medical School graduate with a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy degree from an approved medical school, or possession of Standard Certificates as issued by the Educational Council for Foreign Medical Graduates. Must be board certified or board eligible.
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications: Possesses an active, unrestricted medical license in the state(s) of practice as issued by the medical licensing authority of that state. Maintains all relevant licensure commensurate with his/her professional responsibilities.
