Performs Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures as requested by physician and under direct supervision of a Certified MRI Technologist and Radiologist. Provides care for patients while obtaining diagnostic quality images for interpretation by a Radiologist.
EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent and graduation of accredited radiologic technology program required.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: ARRT certification in MRI and New MexicoState licenses required. New hires will have one year to complete ARRT certification in MRI.
SKILLS: Thorough knowledge of MRI procedures equipment, and anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
