Dell Children’s Medical Group (DCMG), in conjunction with Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas (DCMCCT), is excited to announce the recruitment of a full-time BC Academic Pediatric PM&R Physician. This position is designed to serve the growing inpatient and outpatient needs of the pediatric population of central Texas and teach the next generation of physicians within our ACGME accredited PM&R Residency Program. Highlights of the opportunities include:
Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit
Interdisciplinary Outpatient Clinics
Diverse patient population including patients with cerebral palsy, neuromuscular disorders, brain injury, spinal cord injury, brachial plexus injuries, spina bifida, cancer, and sports injuries.
Procedural opportunities including electrodiagnostics, neuromuscular junction injections and intrathecal baclofen pumps for spasticity management.
The successful candidate will have an appointment within the Department of Pediatrics at the Dell Medical School at the University of Texas. Regular participation in educational activities with medical students and residents will be expected, and opportunities for collaboration with medical and adjunct specialties will be encouraged to allow for the pursuit of innovative program development and clinical research initiatives.
