Spring Mountain is seeking an experienced nursing leader for our Assistant Director of Nursing (Registered Nurse)Â position at our Sahara location.
Spring Mountain Sahara is a 30-bed facility offering acute care psychiatric programs to adults aged 55 and older.
Effectively uses the nursing process to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.
Effectively assumes shift leadership by keeping members of the team informed of important patient data and of patients physical and/or mental status.
Completes nursing assessment based on individual, age specific, developmental needs within 24 hours of admission.
Is current with legal aspects around the practice of nursing and uses appropriate resources when legal questions surface.
Teaching medication and treatment team.
Treatment plan â€" working as part of multidisciplinary team.
Supervises staff in manner that maximizes each staff memberâ€™s strengths and skills.
Is a good role model for peers and those under their supervision.
Evaluates the work performance of all assigned staff on an ongoing basis.Â Reports observations, findings to the Chief Nursing Officer.
Participates in the performance improvement programs.
Prioritizes nursing care resources to ensure patient safety.
Remains focused on patient-centered care during crisis situations.
Provide administrative support to staff during hospital operations.Â
