Work Hours/Shift:
PRN
 
You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Provide care that is consistent with the hospital accountabilities, Standards of Practice and in support of the Nursing Service and patient care goals.
  • Deliver patient centered nursing care using the SHARE principles to ensure high levels of patient satisfaction.      
  • Establishes a compassionate environment by providing physical, emotional and spiritual support to the patients, their families and staff members.
  • Provides quality care by adhering to Standards of Practice, measuring health outcomes against patient centered goals.
  • Utilize multidisciplinary team strategies to achieve quality outcomes
Qualifications
What You Will Need:
  • Registered Nurse with an Associateâ™s Degree. 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
    Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Registered Nurse License to practice in the state of Texas or a Compact 
  • 2 years of management or charge nurse experience preferred
  
Job Summary:
This competent level Registered Nursing Supervisor Promotes and restores patients' health by developing day-to-day management and long-term planning of the patient care area; directing and developing staff; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary professional staffs; providing physical and psychological support for patients, friends, and families.
