Aortic Cardiac Surgeon – Lenox Hill Hospital, Northwell Health
The Cardiothoracic Surgery Service line of Northwell Health and The Zucker School of Medicine is seeking an Aortic Cardiac Surgeon to join our faculty at Lenox Hill Hospital. The candidate will join Northwell Health’s well-established and experienced cardiac surgical program, one of the largest in New York State with an annual case volume well over 3,000 adult surgeries across our network.
Responsibilities will include an emphasis on thoracic aortic disease in addition to general adult cardiac surgery. Candidates must be fellowship trained, and ABS and ABTS Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery. A dedicated aortic surgery fellowship with familiarity with catheter-based therapies (TEVAR) is preferred. New graduates are encouraged to apply. The Center for Aortic Disease at Northwell Health is an instrumental leader in the Northwell Connective Tissue Disease Clinic and is a consistent top enroller in IRAD. The Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery Service Line works closely and collegially with vascular surgery, cardiology, and intensivists to achieve exceptional results.

Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity.
