The Department of Pain, Palliative Care, and Integrative Medicine at Children's Minnesota is seeking a Pediatric Palliative Care Physician to join our thriving interdisciplinary team. The position offers a unique opportunity to participate in full-scope palliative & hospice care as part of a collaborative and highly functioning team.
The physician will work as part of a robust interdisciplinary team, including: 4 physicians, 6 advanced practice registered nurses, MD fellows, 3 nurses, social worker, psychologists, child life specialist, physical therapists, spiritual care provider, integrative medicine providers plus support/administrative staff.
The continuity-focused practice environment includes caring for patients in our two free- standing hospitals located in St. Paul and Minneapolis, outpatient clinics, and in our home-based palliative and hospice programs.
The inpatient service is a combined pain and palliative care consultative service while outpatient services are separated into designated palliative care or chronic pain clinics. This position does not include an expectation to provide outpatient pain care. Rotating on-call responsibilities are shared amongst a group of 8-10 clinicians.
The department also hosts the ACGME accredited Pediatric portion of the Hospice and Palliative Medicine physician fellowship in collaboration with the University of Minnesota. Good communication skills, flexibility and a desire to learn together with the interdisciplinary team are a must.

Candidates must be BC/BE in Palliative Medicine and Hospice and eligible for medical licensure in Minnesota.
