The VA Alexandria Medical Center in Alexandria/Pineville, LA, is seeking a full-time, Board Certified, Anesthesiologist to serve as a member of its Specialty Care Team. Highlights of this position include:
Competitive Starting Salary $340,000-$400.000
Work Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7:30am-4:00pm
Medical direction and solo cases
Conduct preanesthetic history, physical, formulate plan
Administrate general (inhalation and intravenous) anesthesia
Regional anesthesia including spinal, epidural, and peripheral nerve blocks
Placement of arterial and pulmonary artery catheters
Vent Management
Supervise, teach, evaluate CRNA, physician residents, and medical students
Must be a U.S. Citizen. Non-Citizen candidates will be considered if a U.S. Citizen is not found
Full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State
Additional Requirements:
Board Certified in Anesthesiology
5 years’ experience as Anesthesiologist
Experience with Veterans and customer service skills perferred
